Group NewJeans celebrated its 1,000th day of debut amid suspension of activities.

NewJeans, which debuted on July 22, 2022, became popular as a syndrome as soon as it debuted, breaking the first, shortest, and best modifiers on various major domestic and foreign charts. NewJeans, which shook not only the music industry but also the fashion and advertising industries, received so much attention that the whole world was called NewJeans.

However, legal battles between the two sides began last year after HYBE conducted an internal audit, claiming that it had caught the situation of the takeover of the management rights of former CEO Min Hee-jin and ADOR executives, and the members of NewJeans also rebelled against ADOR.

The members held an emergency press conference in November last year and announced the termination of the contract, saying that the agency violated its exclusive contract obligations. Afterwards, the five members left the agency and started their own activities under the new team name “NJZ.”

ADOR filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract in order to legally confirm that the exclusive contract remains valid, and earlier filed an injunction against the five members of NewJeans for “preservation of agency status and prohibition of signing advertising contracts.”

On the 21st of last month, the court accepted ADOR’s request for provisional injunction and decided to cite it, banning the members of NewJeans from independent activities. Since then, the members of NewJeans have objected to the court’s decision, submitted an objection, and declared the suspension of their activities. However, the objection filed by the members on the 16th was not accepted, and the members immediately appealed and expressed their willingness to continue the court battle.

Among them, the members of NewJeans, who celebrated their 1,000th day since their debut, posted a message on social media, “Bunnies! It’s been 1,000 days since we met! The 1,000th day with Bunnies was happiness!” and delivered a message to their fans.

Also, the members said, “Congratulations to Bunnies and the members and to Bunnies! Thank you so much and it really gives us a lot of energy for your support. I hope that sometimes Bunnies will take this picture and capture the lighthearted and pleasant scenery. Thank you Bunnies.”

“I can’t believe it’s already been 1000 days, but it’s been 1000 days. It’s still amazing that there are so many people who value us, but I think we’re always grateful. “It’s so precious to be with people who care about us unconditionally and sincerely, as we are getting older,” they said. “Although we don’t know the future of what kind of moments we will be able to share in the future! I think the important thing is not what kind of moment it is, but to be with someone. Thank you so much until now, and we will continue to appreciate it!”

In particular, one member said, “Even though I’m a little sorry that I’m spending so little time without hearing from you! I’m filling this time by charging a person named me, so it’s a necessary time (although it may be a little selfish), and I hope you understand. I can make a promise to meet you brighter than anyone else later on and be really confident.”

They continued, “As I always say, we are very grateful to be with the five of us even though we are having a hard time in this world. We have lost some time to spend together, but we hope you look forward to our future because we will fill it with better memories later on. That’s how I am.”

As such, with NewJeans facing 1,000 days of bitter debut amid the suspension of his activities, attention is being paid to what kind of steps they will take in the future.
