Recently, new details about the upcoming third season of “One Punch Man” were finally announced. The hype is large, but the studio surprisingly dampens expectations. We summarize the details below.
Long suffering of fans
For fans of »One Punch Man«, the last few years have been a roller coaster ride: after the celebrated first season of Studio Madhouse in 2015, the second season of JCstaff followed in 2019, which at best arrived for many spectators.
After that, even the future of the franchise seemed to be on the brink, because a third season was not an issue for a long time. It was only in August 2022 that fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief after their official announcement, but the concerns immediately increased.
This even went so far that Fake-News made very high waves about a re-awarding of production to the renowned Studio Mappa-presumably because they simply met the most intimate wish of many anime viewers.
But the suffering of the fans never ended in the following years, because since the announcement in 2022 there has been no new information about production. Much worse, the statement of a participant in the series finally confirmed vaguely that there were probably one or the other problems.
Reserved statements
Perhaps that is why the producer of the third “One Punch Man” relay at JCStaff, Atsushi Fujishiro, kept back in a statement and confirmed the previously known production problems:
