Creator’s X is an anime studio that specializes in the production of 2D and 3D animations and in particular develops and uses generative AI systems.
The studio is involved in the production of cinema films, TV anime, advertising and video games, with the focus on creating background animations. Creator’s X includes the subsidiaries Studio Saiga and K&K Design.
While the studio Saiga, founded in December 2024, thanks to managing director Itsuki Ooishi, former background artist at “Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works” and “No Game No Life”, has extensive experience in the anime industry, K&K Design was able to successfully integrate artificial intelligence into his work processes and provide appropriate support with many tits.
Creator’s X has already received a financing of 110 million yen (around 677,000 euros) from Xtech Ventures and Warehouse Terrada Co., Ltd., since the company sees a significant application for artificial intelligence in the lack of specialists in order to quickly create high -quality background.
A question of the “when”
It is important to note that the two brand registrations have not yet been officially approved. Nevertheless, this illustrates the endeavor of the studio to be one step ahead of the increasing influence of artificial intelligence.
The integration of artificial intelligence into the anime industry has long been no question of the “whether”, but of the “when”. The “Nippon Anime Film Culture Association” (NAFCA), which is known to have set itself the task of solving the problems of the industry, has now also viewed this.
However, the NAFCA feels very abandoned by the Japanese government, because only a few weeks ago it became known that the upcoming law to regulate artificial intelligence would not provide any further criminal consequences for a company in the event of misconduct.
The unstoppable progress of artificial intelligence will undoubtedly change the anime industry. The first anime appeared with »Twins Hinahima«, the animations of which were almost completely generated by AI.
