An entry in the ProSieben Maxx program plan announced that the free TV station will broadcast the anime adaptation of “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” next month as a German TV premiere. We summarize.

From May 30, 2025, “freezing” can be seen every Friday evening from around 10:15 p.m. with three episodes on ProSieben Maxx. Afterwards, the fantasy series can be streamed free of charge in the media library on Joyn.
The studio Madhouse was responsible for the production of the anime, which ran on Japanese television from September 2023 to March 2024, in which Keiichirou Saitou (“Bocchi the Rock!”) Directed.
The 28-part first season has been published on DVD and Blu-ray since February 21, 2025. In addition, all episodes are already available with German and Japanese setting on crunchyroll. The start of the second season is planned for January 2026.
