81 Produce announced on Thursday that Rie Takahashi will be taking a month-long hiatus to undergo vocal cord surgery. The voice actress has been experiencing symptoms of hoarseness due to vocal nodules and has been receiving treatment. However, after consulting with her doctor and considering her long-term voice acting career, she has decided to proceed with the surgery.
