Seventeen certified triple platinum in Japan with its fourth single in the country, said agency Pledis Entertainment on Thursday.

Single “Shohikigen” was recognized by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for surpassing 750,000 shipments as of March. It is the band’s fifth album to clinch the certification and is the first single album to do so.

The three-track album was released in November last year and headed straight to the top of Oricon’s Daily Singles Ranking. It also topped its Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings, and returned to the No. 1 spot on the daily chart in January.

The band is soon to thank its fans in person soon as it is set to host fan meetups — at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on April 24, 26 and 27 and at Saitama Super Arena on May 10-11.
