Under the new label “Mappa Records”, you would like to work with composers and artists in the future to create music that is more tailored to the setting of the respective anime than before.
However, it is not just about producing music for your own anime productions. Rather, one wants to convey the unique atmosphere of an anime through music – and above all drive away worldwide.
In addition to the release of singles and albums, concerts are also planned to give fans the opportunity to enjoy the works even more.
With the new music label, Mappa clearly strives for significant growth and we can only hope that they will not forget the heart of their great success – namely the hard work and creativity of their animators, which have repeatedly been exposed to poor working conditions in the past.
