On April 7, Glitch Productions filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana regarding willful trademark infringement of its The Amazing Digital Circus animated IP.

In the meantime, Glitch’s The Amazing Digital Circus lawsuit requests that the judge grant a temporary restraining order to immediately prevent the defendants from using any of its trademarks, and to freeze their assets. It also asks the court to grant expedited discovery to discover the defendants’ bank and payment system accounts.
It wants to do so ex parte (without providing notice to defendants) and attempts to persuade the judge by using its previous successful bid for a sealed court order from February 7, 2025, against 157 entities (see here, pages 12–19). This was filed through the Northern District of Illinois. Glitch argued that without the sealed restraining order, defendants “may disregard their responsibilities and fraudulently transfer financial assets to overseas accounts before a restraint is ordered.” This temporary restraining order was granted on April 11 and will remain in effect for 14 days.

Random, but Tatsuki Fujimoto (creator of Chainsaw Man) also recommended the series in 2024 (via X, formerly Twitter).
The Amazing Digital Circus formally debuted with a pilot episode on YouTube on October 13, 2023, garnering over 371 million views to date. Following its success, a full series was greenlit; three more episodes were released. Netflix picked up the series for streaming with more episodes announced in the future. Gooseworx is credited as the series’ creator, showrunner, writer, director, and theme song composer. They also star in the series.
Glitch describes The Amazing Digital Circus as a “psychological dark comedy about cute cartoon characters who hate their lives and want to leave 🎪😀.“
