Already some time ago we informed you that Peppermint Anime will publish the anime adaptation of “My Deer Friend Nokotan” on Blu-ray. New details have now been unveiled by product entries at Amazon.
Disc-Release ab Juli 2025
The first volume of »My Deer Friend Nokotan« is therefore expected to appear on July 18, 2025 in an Amaray case with O-Card and contains the first six episodes with German and Japanese voice output.
The second volume with episodes 7 to 12 is planned for August 15, 2025. A collective slip for both volumes is exclusive and only available together with a volume of your choice in the Akiba Pass Shop. The design has not yet been unveiled.
“My Deer Friend Nokotan” was directed by Masahiko Oota (“Onipan!”) In the studio Wit and ran in twelve episodes on Japanese television from July to September 2024. Takashi Aoshima (“The 100 Girlfriends”) wrote the script.
The streaming services ADN, crunchyroll and prime video already offer all episodes in the original sound with German subtitles on call.

Torako, a student with a dark past, believed that she had left her criminal roots behind. But her carefully kept secret threatens to be upset when she meets an unusual exchange student: Nokotan, a girl with a antlers who got caught in power lines.
Nokotan’s true nature remains a mystery – is she a deer, a girl or a mix of both? However, Torako could soon regret her willingness to help, because Nokotan has the ability to sniff criminal energies and reveal hidden past.
