The One Piece anime TV series is turning 25 years old on Oct. 20, 2024. Among the many special events and future announcements surrounding this major anniversary, the popular Shonen Jump series is also seeing a surge of new merchandise, including a brand-new line of Sony-produced headsets.
The official Sony website now lists the new collection of wireless noise-canceling headsets based on the popular One Piece anime series. There are two types of headsets for fans to purchase; one is an over-ear headphone set, while the others are in-ear headphones. As seen below, the over-ear version is decorated with a golden image of Monkey D. Luffy on the left ear and the Jolly Roger of the Straw Hat Pirates on the right.
For those who prefer a more modernized pair of headsets, the wireless earbuds are available to purchase and come in lavender, sage green and white. Each color also features a choice of the Jolly Rogers of Luffy, Roronoa Zoro and Sanji. Sony currently lists the in-ear version of the Wireless Noise Canceling Stereo Headset (WF-C700N/OP) for 17,500 yen (US$118.71). Meanwhile, the over-ear headset (WH-1000XM5/OP) retails for 60,400 yen (US$409.79). Currently, these One Piece anime headphones are only being sold on the Japanese Sony website, although big-name collaborations with One Piece do often make their way overseas after the initial Japanese releases.
