The preview images and staff for Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 6 were revealed on Wednesday. The new episode titled “Secret Feelings” will be released on May 8. Crunchyroll is streaming the Wind Breaker anime series with English subtitles.

Synopsis:
On the rooftop after school one day when the cherry trees had turned green – at a get-together held to connect the three grades regardless of grade or class affiliation – Tasuku Tsubakino, the leader of the Jikoku Team and one of the Four Heavenly Kings, approached Sakura with a bold “I’ve finally met you!” Tsubakino was further intrigued by Sakura’s attitude, which was not prejudiced by her appearance of ribbons, skirts, and high heels. Accompanied by Tsubakino, Sakura, Nirei, and Suo headed for the home of an old man named Mr. Ito.

Toshifumi Akai returns to direct Wind Breaker Season 2 with studio CloverWorks continuing to handle the animation production. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is reprising his role in charge of the series composition as is Ryou Takahashi as the music composer. Taishi Kawakami (character designer) and Kazuyuki Asaka (action director) are also reprising their roles for the new season.

The Wind Breaker anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Satoru Nii which has been serialized on the manga website Magazine Pocket since January 2021. There are currently 21 volumes released with no announced date for the next one. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English, with the first 10 volumes currently available in print and the first 19 digitally.
