In Bleach, the Espada are considered the ten strongest Arrancar in Sosuke Aizen’s army. Like other Arrancar, the Espada were once Menos-class Hollows who were granted Soul Reaper powers via the Hogyoku. As a result, they all possess a Zanpakuto, and they all have a Resurreccion release. Most of the Espada were Vasto Lorde or Adjuchas-level Menos, but one was a Gillian. The Espada were involved in several high-profile fights, but certain fights stand out more than others.
