10 Unforgivable Things That Zuko Did in Avatar The Last Airbender
----- ADS-----
In Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aang’s best friend started off as his worst enemy: Prince Zuko. In fact, most members of Zuko’s royal family were vicious antagonists, including the unforgiving Fire Lord Azulon, the genocidal Fire Lord Ozai, and the ruthless Princess Azula. Although Zuko was the only one of them to redeem himself, he still has a lot to answer for. Many times, he mistreated his friends and enemies alike, often for selfish reasons.
When he was exiled from the Fire Nation at age 13, Zuko was told that capturing the Avatar would restore his honor, and Zuko pursued that goal with single-minded and selfish determination. The Avatar was the world’s last hope for peace and balance, so anyone who threatened the Avatar was committing unforgivable crimes against the world itself, and Zuko is guilty of that on several counts. Not only that, Zuko also verbally abused several people, including his best family members, so it’s no wonder he felt so guilty by the series’ end, when his redemption was complete.
Several times in Avatar, Zuko tried to capture Aang for his own selfish reasons, at the expense of the entire world. Even if Zuko’s attempts to seize Aang had their comedic moments and ended in failure, the fact remained that Zuko was trying to trade world peace for his honor, and it’s not easy to forgive that.
