Popular series My Dress-Up Darling is about to get a new official Marin swimsuit figure inspired by her appearance in Episode 2 of the anime, set to be released for both domestic and international buyers.

The Kadokawa-owned Chara-ani online store has opened pre-orders for the “My Dress-Up Darling Melty Princess Marin-chan” figure until Sept. 18, 2024. Set to be released in December 2024, the figure retails for 8,250 yen (US$56), with customers limited to five units per person. The figure measures around 110 mm tall and will be available worldwide via the store-affiliated Tenso proxy shipping service. Readers can check out the official images of the figure below.

The figure takes inspiration from My Dress-Up Darling Episode 2, where main characters Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo explore their seemingly conflicting hobbies. After the pair find common ground, Gojo prepares to take Marin’s measurements, with the latter stripping down to the surprising swimsuit under her clothes. The figure is described: “From the TV anime series “My Dress-Up Darling,” Marin Kitagawa is now available in the Melty Princess Palm-sized Series! She’s recreated in palm-sized form as she innocently gives you a peace sign! Her shy smile from the series and the lines that flow from her fingertips to her waist are all beautifully recreated.”
