New Solo Leveling Sequel Webtoon Makes Massive Debut With Over 2,000 Pages

Solo Leveling webtoon licensor Kakao Entertainment has released the debut of its highly anticipated sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. The new webtoon comprises well over 2,000 pages of content, which follows main character Sung Suho and his partner, Beru.
Via Kakaopage’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is now being serialized on its official webtoon site as of July 31, 2024, with Chapter 1 alone, “Outer Gods,” being 249 pages long. The series, a sequel to Solo Leveling, debuted with 13 chapters, of which the first three have been made free to read. In total, this comes in at a massive 2,531 pages for Korean-reading fans to enjoy. New chapters will be released every Thursday.
As of Aug. 1 in Korea, the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webtoon has been viewed 626,000 times and is currently rated 9.9 stars out of 10. Despite the worldwide anticipation for the series, no English language release window has yet been announced. Initial hype for the series dated back to the source web novel’s debut in 2023, but it intensified in recent weeks following an ISBN application for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. After its official announcement, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok artist JIN and author Dangdo, who oversees the story adaptation of the novel written by Daul, released their first comments. The pair spoke about their effort and excitement in adapting the series, and “action scenes that become more splendid with each episode.”
